A world-class cancer hospital had the patients, the doctors, and the mission. Their website didn't match any of it. Dog and Rooster rebuilt it from the ground up.
Oasis of Hope is a cancer treatment hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, offering integrative and metabolic therapies to patients from around the world. Their approach to care is deeply specialized — yet their old website made it nearly impossible for patients and families to understand their treatments, meet their doctors, or take the first step toward becoming a patient. We rebuilt the entire platform: 130+ pages, ADA compliant, launched on WordPress so the team can run it without a developer every time something changes.

Patients searching for answers were landing on a site that raised more questions than it answered.
That's not good enough when someone's life is on the line. Oasis of Hope had the expertise, the doctors, and the mission — the website wasn't carrying any of it.
Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, treats cancer patients from around the world with integrative and metabolic therapies that most hospitals don’t offer. Their care model is specialized by design. Their old website didn’t reflect any of that specialization.
We rebuilt the platform from the ground up on WordPress — mapping the full patient journey before writing a line of code, designing and developing 130+ pages with a consistent system, and delivering ADA compliance and an SEO foundation at launch. The hospital’s team can now manage their own content. Patients and families can find what they’re looking for. The site finally matches the institution behind it.
- No patient journey structure the site lacked clear entry points for the three main audiences — prospective patients, referring physicians, and families researching treatment options. Everyone landed in the same undifferentiated experience and had to figure out fit on their own.
- Developer-gated content staff couldn't update pages, add new doctors, or publish news without outside help. For a hospital with a growing roster, active treatment programs, and time-sensitive patient information, that's a bottleneck no one can afford.
- Missing content at scale cancer-type pages, individual doctor profiles, and treatment program detail pages didn't exist or were too thin to be useful. A patient researching breast cancer treatment or the IMPACT immunotherapy program had nowhere to go.
- Accessibility gaps the site did not meet ADA or WCAG standards — a significant liability for a healthcare organization serving patients with serious illness, many of whom rely on assistive technology.
We didn't just redesign a website. We built a patient-first platform
that could scale with the hospital.
Four tracks run in parallel: site architecture mapped to the patient journey before a single page was designed, 130+ pages built on a consistent visual system, ADA compliance and SEO baked in from the start, and content migrated without losing search equity.
Sitemap and content architecture
We started by mapping the full patient journey across Oasis of Hope's three primary audiences: prospective patients, families, and referring providers. That meant defining clear navigation paths for treatments, cancer types, the 30-doctor roster, and the IMPACT immunotherapy program — all before a single wireframe was drawn. Every page earned its place in the architecture before it was built.

130+ pages designed and developed with a consistent visual system — high-fidelity mockups across core pages, cancer-type templates, doctor profile templates, and program landing pages. Every page built responsive, tested across devices, and delivered on WordPress so the Oasis of Hope team could manage content from day one without a developer in the loop.

Accessibility was built in from the start, not patched on at the end. Full ADA audit covering semantic HTML, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, and WCAG color contrast — delivered at launch, not as a follow-on. SEO foundation ran in parallel: keyword research, meta optimization, and Google Search Console submission across priority pages so the site was indexable and ready to build on from day one.
