In collaboration with the San Diego Early Music Society (SDEMS), Dog and Rooster embarked on a transformative journey to elevate their online presence. As a renowned musical non-profit, SDEMS needed a digital platform that echoed the essence of their historical performances spanning the 15th to 18th centuries. Their mission was clear: bring the magic of period-appropriate music to the digital age while ensuring accessibility for diverse audiences.
At Dog and Rooster, we dove into the project with a comprehensive strategy. Our team meticulously crafted a visually captivating website that not only honored SDEMS's rich history but also catered to their target audience. Our design approach combined vintage aesthetics with modern functionality, creating an intuitive navigation system for all users, including the elderly and non-English speakers. To ensure inclusivity, we adopted an innovative design language that transcended language barriers and embraced universal appeal.
The new SDEMS website seamlessly blends tradition with technology, elegantly showcasing their expertise. Users effortlessly explore historical music, accessing events, artists, and context. The responsive, intuitive design welcomes diverse visitors, reflecting SDEMS's global inclusivity. Choosing Dog and Rooster meant realizing SDEMS's vision flawlessly. Our custom design preserves and enhances authenticity for the digital age, extending their cultural impact and reinforcing their pioneering status. This case study underscores Dog and Rooster's commitment to creativity, functionality, and purpose, ensuring clients achieve digital excellence.
