The Goal
San Diego Surf School teaches that surfing isn’t just a sport, but a remedy for life. It can help you forget about your worries, and provide a calm, meditative atmosphere that can help lower your stress levels. Their mission is to make a positive impact and provide a first-rate surfing experience to all of their clients, from locals to tourists. At SD Surf School, there is no need to be an expert, they offer classes for everyone, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Dog and Rooster has been working with SD Surf School for many years, and has had the pleasure of designing their old site, as well as this brand new site. The old site was through Shopify, but due to its limitations they decided to switch to WordPress. Dog and Rooster recreated their archives and all the 600+ pages, integrated a booking API, all while keeping the client’s SEO ranking not effected. The new site is much more functional for them, and we are grateful to have such a longterm client.
The Solution and Process
On the new WordPress platform, Dog and Rooster recreated their archives and all the 600+ pages. We updated page designs, and integrated a booking API for increased functionality for San Diego Surf and their customers. Once the site was ready we migrated their content from the old site to the new one and went live.
The Results
The new site is much more functional for them, and none of their SEO rankings were lost during the transition. We are grateful to have such a long term client.
